Minimalist Living Area

THE BRIEF

Our clients wanted a feature wall in their beautifully spacious lounge, which would look sleek and sophisticated whilst still incorporating a large television and excellent audio facilities. Our brief was to help design a fireplace for the centre of the wall, above which the television and speaker could be mounted. Our clients wanted a sleek, minimalist look which would allow them to showcase their impressive equipment without any of the ‘behind the scenes’ boxes or wires. They also wanted the ability to use Smart functions, SKY Q and Blu-Ray, to get the most out of their new television.

SET UP

We installed a 65” Panasonic TV and Sonos Play Bar, set into the striking fireplace without imposing on the minimalist style of the room. Smart, Sky Q and Blu-Ray facilities service the TV from a centrally located comms room, overcoming the issue of visible boxes and wires. A universal remote was programmed to control all the equipment. We provided the CAD drawings for the dimensions and construction of the fireplace, ensuring that the equipment would fit perfectly.
