THE BRIEF
Our clients came to us with an idea for a ‘his and hers’ set up for their beautifully bohemian downstairs space. They wanted both of their reception rooms to have access to music streaming, SKY TV and Blu-Ray, so that they could maximise both spaces. They also wanted to be able to listen to different music in different parts of the house (there’s always that one song you can’t agree on…) and to have the option to each watch their own programmes in peace. The audio system also needed to be great for entertaining, so that guests could mingle and move between rooms whilst still enjoying the music. Part of our brief was to help design the fireplace wall in the living room and source a large television that would fit perfectly into the recess, keeping the room cosy and eclectic rather than overpowering it.
