Our brief for this project was to completely overhaul our clients’ living room entertainment set up, bringing it totally up to date. Our clients asked us to consider the layout of their room and to find a way to accommodate a larger television, which we then sourced and installed. They wanted to be able to watch programmes from a variety of different streaming sources, and to be able to enjoy those programmes in 4K, accompanied by fantastic sound quality.
Initially, we found a suitable position for the new television and channelled out the wall for all necessary cables to be run. On completion, all redecoration was organised by us, leaving a perfect finish. We installed a 75” Sony 4K TV accompanied by a Marantz amplifier and 5 Monitor Audio speakers, providing unparalleled sound quality for both audio and visual elements of the set up. The amplifier provides 4K distribution for a multitude of boxes, giving access to streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon and Kodi. A SKY Q box offers 4K channels, as well as an updated, more user friendly interface. The entire set up is controlled via a dedicated remote control and tablet, bringing the system together.
