Stylish Living Room

THE BRIEF

The brief we were given was to source and install equipment that would do justice to this pristine living space without overpowering it. Our clients wanted a large television, SKY and Blu-Ray access without filling the room up with little black boxes. We were also asked to make the system easy to use, so that the whole set up could be conveniently controlled via a single remote. Our clients wanted the very best speakers so that they could enjoy their new television in surround sound, however the speakers needed to be visually subtle and unobtrusive.

SET UP

We installed a 65” Samsung Smart TV with SKY and Blu-Ray viewing facilities, complimented by Artcoustic 5.1 speakers and a wall mounted subwoofer. The Artcoustic speakers have printed covers, allowing them to blend into the décor of the room. The entire system is powered by a Denon amplifier and controlled from a centrally located comms room. We chose a universal remote, providing a simple way to control every piece of equipment, with an additional SKY remote to use for channel and volume adjustment if preferred.
